1. How do I edit information about a facility in Resource Finder? Can anyone make edits?

Select a facility from the left hand side, then click on "Edit this record" in the info window that pops up. Anyone who is logged in with a Google Account can edit a given facility’s information. You can create a Google Acount here. Any edit you make in Resource Finder will be published along with the name and affiliation you provide the first time you edit. You also have the option of giving a pseudonym or a nickname, in which event you will be identified by your pseudonym or nickname instead of your name.

Edit it!

3. Is all the data in Resource Finder valid?

Google does not review or verify the accuracy of this data. Anyone can edit information in Resource Finder.

4. Can I add a facility to Resource Finder that is not listed?

Yes, click on the "Add" button on the top left of the map.

5. Can I print information in Resource Finder?

Yes. Select a facility from the left hand side, then click on the "Print" link at the top right. This will create a print view with the selected facility shown on the map and a list including other nearby facilities.

6. Can I export information from Resource Finder?

Yes. The most current information about facilities in Resource Finder can be downloaded in csv format by clicking on the "Export CSV" link at the bottom left.

7. Where does the information in Resource Finder come from?

Resource Finder is the result of collaboration among many organizations and individuals. It includes ongoing updates from organizations and individuals in the field. The source of the most recent edits for a given facility can be seen in the "Change details" tab for that facility. The software was created by Google engineers.

8. Can I edit information in Resource Finder without having my name listed publicly in the change history?

When you sign up as an editor, you indicate a name and an affiliation. You can enter pseudonym or a nickname if you prefer.

9. Does Resource Finder work on mobile phones?

The Resource Finder web site may work on smartphones, but it is not yet designed to work well on mobile phones.
